Last month Lamborghini boss, Stephan Winkelmann, confirmed that Sant’Agata would be rolling out a new car to celebrate the 50th anniversary, but what we don’t yet know is what that new model will be.
From May this year Volvo will update its V40 model, equipping the premium Swedish hatchback with its range of high-efficiency Drive-E engines and Volvo’s latest eight-speed automatic gearbox. This means the revised V40 line-up now offers an impressive performance to efficiency ratio, with 190hp on offer in the D4 turbodiesel variant, returning a claimed 74.3mpg combined with 99g/km CO2 when mated to the six-speed manual. Ford of Europe will stem its huge 10-figure losses and return to profitability in 2015, president Stephen Odell vowed this week. Talking to CAR at the global launch of the Ford Edge in Cologne, Germany, Odell vowed that heavy losses would be reversed by the sweeping Ford of Europe turnaround plan whose fruits would be borne over the next 12 months. Ford lost $1.6 billion in Europe in 2013 - the third straight year of red ink flooding the region.
